So I’m at work and I take my daily lunch time read of the Strobist.com blog to see what’s going on and there I see this familiar picture of my DIY beauty dish.   My first thought?   Aww crap, my browser is whacked again.   I hit refresh and the picture doesn’t go away…. I start to read the words and my heart jumps into my throat! Then my mind races and all I can think is… HOLY CRAP! THAT IS MY BEAUTY DISH!!!   It took me a couple of tries to actually read David’s post!

Well, that was the start of a few pretty crazy days. 50k page hits in the first day alone to this LightandPixels.com blog and an update to describe the more details kept me going fast. Then I’ve been getting requests to build them for other people. I don’t know if I will but maybe I should… I’d like to know if you think I should.

I’ll definitely bring it to the next Strobist meet-up here in Ohio.  Anyway, it is a huge honor to have David Hobby link to your blog let alone have some good stuff to say about your DIY! For me it was a crazy couple of days. Thanks Dave and thanks to the everyone that helped with the dish. You Strobists are an amazing bunch!
