We spent today sunning on the beach swimming and just being nice and lazy!  The weather was again 85 or better and the sun was scorching here 20 degrees latitude below home.   Makes me think of the Jimmy buffet song – “Changes in latitude, changes in attitude” – if we could only spend more time here (note to self: play lotto).

After a day of hard work on the beach we moved back to the room to cleanup and get ready for another nice sunset and a Christmas Luau.

The sunset didn’t disappoint.  They all seem to be beautiful here.  Then we were off to the Luau.  The show was fun and the food was great.  I’m glad I ran earlier today because it was way more than I should have eaten.  Pork, beef, chicken, fish, potatoes, salad, crab, and on, and on… I ate it all…

Here’s the pics – (caution photo geek moment coming – I am impressed with the D300 in the Luau photos.  It was dark, they ISO was set to 1600 or even 3200 and there is noise but not that much.  The lighting came mostly from torches and some stage lights.  All in all, I’m impressed).
