More Basketball

0

The snow broke and the basketball games stopped getting canceled! :)   I was able to shoot another game and this time I had both lights at the same level and pointed in at the same location just above the key. Both lights were in old clock cages that were now empty. Using a bungee cord I was able to secure them so that even a stray ball wouldn’t dislodge them. They were high enough that standing on a chair I had to get on my tip-toes to strap them in. I’m gonna say they were close to 10 feet up.

The pics are better lit this time around from the the perspective of evenness but the exposure is still too much. Next game I’m gonna drop from 1/4 power to 1/8 and see what happens because I really don’t like the washed out effect they seem to have.    All of these shots were made with a Tamron 17-55 2.8. I decided to go wide this game and I like what I got. Most shots were at 1000 ISO and F3.5 or F4. All of them were were with a shutter of 250 to insure sync.
