One of my favorite blogs out there is This Week In Photography (TWIP)  Today Ron Brinkmann wrote about the “perfect camera“.  His point is that the world is going open source or is at least the good hardware vendors are providing a high quality SDK for the hive to exploit their hardware.  The smart manufacturers know that more code for you hardware created free by smart people will allow you to sell even more hardware.  Ron talks about the best phone out there – the iPhone and how they’ve been so successful with the iPhone SDK.  This is a good read.  Now if we could just get some of the camera manufacturers to join in this kind of thinking…
