Nash Vegas

0

Soccer season is back in full swing and we had our first tournament in Smyrna, TN just south of Nashville.  I like to call Nashville, Nash Vegas because of all the lights, entertainment, and fun.  We stayed pretty far away from the soccer field out near the airport and close to Opryland.  The tournament wasn’t the best for the girls but they improved as they went along through the weekend.

We had our team dinner at The Aquarium restaurant at Opry Mills mall.  The restaurant seating was really inside an aquarium.  The center of the seating was a huge tank that had fish of all sizes.  Some of the fish were more than 6 feet long.  I was having fun trying to pan with a medium size Black Tip shark because the light was so low.  I think I got him pretty sharp.

After dinner we walked over to the Opryland Hotel and walked through the Delta, the Garden Conservatory, and the Cascades area in this immense hotel. These photos were taken in low light with long exposures and no flash.  Each required setting the camera down and using the timer to insure the camera didn’t move during the exposure.
