I’d like to point you to a very good guy I met quite by accident while riding on the bike trail along the Little Miami River. Eric Hatch of HatchPhotoFix.com. Eric is a professional photographer working in South Lebanon, OH. Talk to Eric and you’ll find he is a guy who loves his work. He’s bright guy (PhD) and has a long personal history of some pretty amazing business successes but several years ago he decided to pursue his passion – photography full time. Somewhere along the line he discovered photo restoration. It turns out that photo restoration is a good fit for him. When you tie Eric’s crazy good skills with Photoshop to his core photography skills, add in a bunch of crazy high-end scanners and other equipment and you’ve got a business in photo restoration. Don’t get me wrong, Eric is still doing photography of all sorts and doing it very well, but Eric is also pursuing a new passion for saving peoples old photos and he’s really good at it. Talk to Eric and you’ll here the voice of guy who is enamored with the idea of “Bringing your memories back to life” – his motto. If you’ve got old family photos or happen to be a historical society or anyone else that has photos with historical value you should talk to Eric. Take time to visit his website HatchPhotoFix.com and see some examples of his photo restoration work.
Interesting bit of info and some nice work by Hatch Photo Fix.
BTW-Your opnion wouldn’t possibly be biased by the fact that you are the restoration firm’s website developer, would it? I clicked on the link at the bottom of his Website and it brought me back here.

Pete,
That’s true – I did do the website for him. As you can see from my site Lightandpixels, I love photography. As I said, I happened upon Eric as I said while riding my bike by pure chance and we developed a friendship. The thing is he impressed me with his passion and he is very good at what he does. In some ways it was one of the most fun websites I’ve ever put together and maybe for one of the best causes. Eric has been very generous with his time and helping me to develop my photography. It was the least I could do.

Tom,
Well, you certainly did a nice job with his site development. You have a real talent and a good eye for design. I truly enjoy your blog and have had it in my Feeds favorites for several months so I can get updates as they occur. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your future articles.
Pete
Thanks Pete!
