When my Radiopopper PX system showed up in the brown truck, I promised to give back to the Strobist community in my Radiopopper PX review post. It was my plan to give my Gadget Infinity 16 Channel Radio Trigger/Receiver pair to someone who could use them to grow as a “Strobist“. After receiving several requests for the GI triggers and reading them all, I decided to select Daniel Turner as the winner. Daniel’s case for the the Gadget Infinity radio triggers caught my attention because his photographic path parallels mine. We both started with a great love of shooting sports and have grown into portraits.
I suppose I’m a sucker for the college student’s plight. I remember being in college and not being able to afford much. A special treat was when I could cheese with my mac. In fact I hope Daniel can afford to get out and take a few pictures that he’s proud of and that he shares them with us – I’d rather see him put money toward beer than radio triggers anyway!
One thing Daniel, I saved up for the RadioPopper PX system because I had grown frustrated with the GI triggers – don’t blame me if you get aggravated. I also hope that one day you’ll pay them forward to someone who can use them.
