Tennessee cabin

1

This cabin is just up the road from where our family is lucky enought to get to spend time at the lake in TN. I really like the way this old cabin gives the feeling of “old” TN. I processed it as a cyanotype in an attempt to give it that old photo feel. I hope to get more pictures of this cabin soon. I thi k it has lots of potential.

You have so many nice photographs within your site but I like this image a lot Tom. The cyanotype look is a great idea. I enjoy simulating the look of the old processes in Photoshop. I’ve made and saved several of my favs as Actions – Cyanotype, Kodak Platinum Paper, Kodak Warm Paper, Kodak Cool Paper, several Sepias, Bromide, Salt Paper and so on. In the “day” I often attempted to duplicate wet processes of these methods when this stuff was done in a darkroom. Thank goodness we don’t have to smell or play with those chemicals any longer.
