Garage Shoot

2

Last night we had some fun shooting with two lights.  We did our shoot in the garage instead of in the basement. Shooting in the garage for a change was good because it let me get the key light up in the air higher than what I usually get to do in the basement because of low ceilings and that changed everything!

I used an SB800 in a 28″ Apollo soft box as the key light and a SB600 through a shoot through umbrella as a fill.  These were shot with the Sigma 70-200 2.8 at just over 70 and everything was triggered using RadioPopper PX triggers but on manual.  This is one shot out of the keeper pool.

Nice job and subject! Lighting seems a bit harsh and hot to have been shot with a soft box and shoot-through umbrella, also the depth of field seems a bit shallow. Was this what you were going for? Marks on the wall camera left are a bit distracting could that be dust on your sensor?
