Sorry that I’ve not been active posting for some time. I’ve got a huge project in the works and it’s been taking almost every free moment. I hope to make it public in the next month or so. So stay tuned, it’s gonna be good!
That said, sometimes you’ve just got to take time and shoot when you’re given an opportunity like I got this weekend.
This weekend I was lucky enough to work with a pair of wonderful models shooting 40′s Style Pin Up photos. There were two Photo Setups. For this shot there was a PCB White Lightning heavily red gelled in the grotto, another PCB White lightning in a strip box just to the left of the door as the key light, and a big reflector to the right of the door to the picture right for fill.
Both of these shots were processed primarily in LightRoom 3 beta with a little of PhotoShop used mostly to clone out some junk.
The model in the picture on the right is Jessica (MM #1567622 ) and she was perfect for the Pin Up pictures. If you’re anywhere near Louisville, KY you should give her a call because she’s really good and very easy to work with!
The next photo is of Mandy. She really took the 40′s look to the limit. This uses the exact same setup as the the shot of Jessica but the reflector has more impact in this image.
I’ll be following up with more pictures from this shoot will follow in the next few days including some fun with Photoshop.
