Please welcome Alysse to the LightandPixels.com photographic family. Alysse is a beautiful young model that is getting started in spectacular fashion.
Alysse is headed to college at my old Alma-mater, Hocking Technical College to study wildlife management. I agree it’s a good idea to know how to manage your life when it gets wild and HTC has the potential for lots of wildlife!
Alysse tells me that a lot of people say she looks like Lady Gaga – I think she looks better. A lot better!
These photos were taken for her to add to her modeling portfolio. The day we took these shots it was a very sunny day so I decided to follow follow the Sunny 16 rule – (ISO 100, F16, 100 shutter) and then balance that light with a 22″ beauty beauty dish attached to a White Lightning X1600 monoblock light. This let me make some nice bright, sharp images of a girl who looked great that way.
Her outfit was an amazing gown and the backdrop was what was left of an old sandstone gristmill support thing-a-ma-jig. We kept saying it looked like she was a greek goddess at the ruins in Athens! We had lots of fun. Here are a few more example shots from the shoot.
