The email from Radiopopper finally came out tonight.  The guys at Leap Devices have made the following announcement:

“The RadioPopper RPCube will be available for purchase Monday, May 3, 2010 at 1pm PST for $29.95.”

I’ve said it before – I really like what the RadioPopper guys have done with their radio triggers but they tend [...]

Last weekend Jason Lykins and Shad Ramsey of Red Door Photography just outside of Cincinnati hosted a Strobist Meet-up at their large studio.  If you’re in the Cincinnati area, you should check them out.  The do wonderful work and they support the photography community with regular classes for photographers and models.

Sometimes the obvious just dawns on you and that’s what happened to me.    I realized that you can use a single RadioPopper JrX Studio to control two Alien Bees with one receiver.   All you need is one phone splitter and one long phone wire.  You can use the shot phone cord that comes with the [...]

UPDATE:  New posting on the release of the official Radiopopper RPCube and a Canon DIY cube is here:
I’m a big fan of the RadioPopper guys.  I really think they are the real competition for the guys at PocketWizard.  The RP guys have had their share of delays, sputters, and poor public relations – at least [...]

Just a little reminder for those of you that may have forgotten.  One of the most basic and important things I’ve learned about photography is that when you’re using flash, ambient light is controlled by adjusting shutter speed.  Flash exposure is controlled by adjusting aperture.  Tweaking ISO lets you adjust the range of the Shutter [...]

My RadioPopper PX system bracket review. They’re good and they have a lot going for them. I think they were worth the wait but here are the details.
